Dallas-based developer Leon Capital Group is kicking off a new project in Lewisville.
The real estate company is building a 364-unit apartment community on Lake Ridge Road that it calls the Lakeyard District.
The 15-acre site is near State Highway 121 near the mixed-use Grandscape development.
The eight three-story buildings are being constructed in "Texas Hill Country" style.
"This is a great opportunity to bring a sophisticated and stylish multifamily community to a thriving area of North Texas," Carl Starry, Leon Capital Group’s multifamily regional director, said in a statement. "The location is a key feature, with excellent proximity to some of the largest employment hubs in the area, including Legacy West and Hall Office Park, with even quicker access to the DFW International Airport."
The first units in the new apartment community will be ready in August.
BGO Architects designed the development, which is being built by general contractor LG Wade.
Along with the rental units, the project will include more than 3 acres of space for outdoor lounges, cabanas, a dog park, a swimming pool and a fitness center.
Leon Capital Group has previously developed luxury apartments in Dallas’ Uptown district and is currently building a rental community at the former Dallas Independent School District headquarters site on Ross Avenue just east of downtown.
